Our Story

Mike Sorrentino lived addiction. He lived recovery. He built Archangel Centers so other people would have the program he wished existed when he was getting sober: clinical-grade care, delivered with the humanity and lived experience that only someone who has been on both sides of it can bring.

Archangel Centers is a Tinton Falls, NJ outpatient addiction treatment center serving adults. We offer Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), standard Outpatient (OP), Way House sober living, and a Detox Concierge service that bridges medical detox into our programs.

What Makes Us Different

Lived experience plus clinical rigor

Most treatment centers have one or the other. Mike's recovery story informs every part of how we treat people. Our clinical team brings the evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, MAT when indicated, trauma-focused care) that produce measurable outcomes.

Integrated dual diagnosis as the default

Roughly half of people in addiction treatment also have a co-occurring mental health condition. We treat both together as the standard of care, not as a separate program.

Outpatient only, by design

Outpatient treatment keeps you connected to your real life: family, work, community. For most adults this produces better long-term outcomes than disappearing into a residential facility for 30 days and returning to the same environment that drove the addiction.
