Under the ASAM Criteria, PHP sits at Level 2.5, the most intensive outpatient tier, positioned just below residential care and one step above an Intensive Outpatient Program. The majority of clients transition from PHP into our Intensive Outpatient Program. This step-down approach keeps care continuous while gradually reducing intensity, and clients who complete both levels tend to maintain recovery more successfully than those who leave treatment abruptly after a single phase.
